75 years of propeller production in Waren (Müritz)

We are still overwhelmed by our open day and the subsequent employee party.
On 23.09.2023, we, MMG, celebrated our 75th anniversary of propeller production at our site in Waren (Müritz). In the morning, around 3000 visitors flocked to our factory premises. Our Managing Director Dr. Lars Greitsch opened the open day with an introduction to our propeller history since 1948, and the Maritime Coordinator of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Jochen Schulte, offered his congratulations on the company's successful development. The mayor of the city of Waren, Mr. Norbert Möller, honored our former managing director, Mr. Manfred Urban, with a certificate of honor. Mr. Urban helped shape the development of MMG for over 20 years. Mr. Urban was also present at the open day and took the opportunity to personally explain the propeller casting process to visitors. Today, his daughter Katrin Beuster manages the company together with Dr. Lars Greitsch.

After the aisles in the halls cleared at the end of the day, our employee party began in our foundry hall. With live music and a delicious buffet, our employees and their families and alumni ended the evening together - not forgetting the pleasant conversations in the evening. In addition, all employees received a T-shirt with our 75th anniversary logo - we'll show you what we made of it soon!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Studio 301 once again. They transformed our old foundry hall into a great location for our celebration - thank you very much for your support and the great implementation and redesign of our company premises.
